Charge for the Diversity Committee

To explore, develop and advocate for cultural competency in the profession of Socal Work in Oregon:
To maintain, update and support the affirmative action statement and guidelines for the Chapter:
To recruit and support social workers of diverse backgrounds in Oregon for the profession of social work, NASW membership, and NASW and community leadership. This includes people discriminated against because of race, culture, ethnicity, disability, sexual or gender identity.
